Two of us Navigated from Pen y Gwreyd hotel layby to a wild camp spot next to Llyn Cwmffynnon. Took the footpath following the river to our wild camp spot, and proceeded to practice some night navigation practice up and around Moel Berfedd. The following morning descended down to the YHA, down towards Afon Glaslyn and back to the starting point to complete a circular walk

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
