Description

Started at the top car park and headed SW in to the Allt choire an t snneachda and up the Fiachaill a coire an t sneachda ridge. From there up to the Cairn Lochan then straight back down and across to Stob core an t sneachda, then from there N to •1141, then E to Cairn gorm summit & then down to the Ptarmigan café and down the white lady back to the top car park.

Area : The Cairngorms

The Cairngorms are ‘a little piece of the arctic in Scotland’ according to the SMC Munros Guide and the area contains many of the tallest peaks in the East Highlands. Ben Macdui (1309m), Cairn Gorm (1244m) and Braeriach (1296) are probably three of the better known and the whole area is full of steep corries and high plateaux. Access to the mountains is typically from Aviemore or Braemar.
