Description

Continuation of Mur Y Niwl. Quartz downward traverse is weird and unsettling. P3 felt harder than 4a with painful toes, but still a good pitch with corner work and thuggy flakes.

Area : Carneddau

Includes crags which are North of the A5 through the Ogwen Valley, and those approached from Bethesda. Popular crags and routes include: Craig yr Isfa (Amphitheatre Buttress, V Diff), Carreg Mianog (Cracked Arete, VS 4b), Craig Lloer (Kirkus's Route VS 5a), and the magnificent Llech Ddu.
