I walked these three on a clear, crisp winter day. I walked along the Coire Domhain and then headed up the eastern side of A' Mharconaich, putting my crampons on near the top. It was a very straightforward and enjoyable walk, although I was feeling a bit more tired than usual. As I walked down from Sgairneach Mhor in nice powdery snow, having removed my crampons, I suddenly hit a large patch of windslab, and if I hadn't been wearing my heavy Scarpa Mantas I think I would have gone flying down it. Luckily I was able to quickly retreat and put on my crampons.
