This was a mostly boggy walk in an increasingly strong wind. I went with one friend. By the time we reached the summit, very grey clouds were gathering overhead, and I was keen to get back down to a lower level, but irritatingly, my friend was insistent on taking a rest in the shelter cairn. I didn't want to stop her having a rest, but I thought it might be more sensible to get to a slightly lower level first. On the way back down we got lashed with hailstones.
