This was the day before lockdown was announced. Me and my friend had been planning to climb one of the Cairngorms, but the day before, Scottish MRT put out a notice urging people to stay close to home and do hills you know. I had some difficulty convincing my friend, who was disappointed, but I thought Dumbreck in the Campsies would be a good one, as it's not very popular for some reason. From Dumbreck, we walked to Earl's Seat. We then walked back in a wide circuit via Hart Hill, a total distance of almost 18km. It was a lovely warm day and we were shattered by the time we got back to the car. We only saw two other people.
