Instructional / coaching session with 7yr old Grace. First session back after 8 months of lockdown. I have been instructing Grace twice monthly since September last year.
She has gone from complete novice to an excellent little climber, understanding body positioning, footwork and many other aspects relating to climbing.
Tying herself on to the rope and performing safety checks of herself and myself is superb, and I am looking at being able to run NICAS levels 1 & 2 with her in the near future.
From a coaching perspective it's really nice to have these one on one sessions to be able to spend time teaching Grace at her own pace, and drip-feeding her knowledge / information as it becomes appropriate.
