Description

Skinned up from Glenmore to the ski area car park then up the Cas bowl to the Ptarmigan. Wind was strong but vis excellent. Due to tricky avalanche forecast with lots of cross loading and wind slab, I kept to low angle slopes and made my way around the top of the northern corries, always avoiding the steepest sections. Then headed back to Lurcher's crag and went down Lurcher's gully, back to main ski area car park. Worked way back down the road.
