Skinned up from about 350m, to hole in the wall and up to red tarn. Good snow cover to get up onto ridge of catsy cam - then boot packed up to swirral edge and Helvelyn summit. Wind scour and poor snow cover on top but managed to ski down to raise and over to the dodds. Return by Glenridding YH.
