A journey starting and finishing at Lisliebane trail head, into the Hag's Glen, up the Devil's Ladder (DL) to the summit of Carrauntoohil, back down to the top of the DL.
From the DL an ascent was made to the summit of Cnoc Na Tionne, with a return to the top of the Zig Zags, which were then descended. A walk out from the bottom of the Zig Zags to the trail head completed the journey. Perfect weather, with in frequent gust at times on the Zig Zags.
