Aborted on pitch 4 after backing off Pillar Chimney and getting up behind the block into the chimney to try up the Left hand branch finish. Deep snow on P1 & 2. Well formed ice on the Pillar Chimney final chimney but upward path was blocked after the travers by the leftwards escape consisting of pure rime and the rightwards traverse being exceptionally brittle ice.
