Description

I cycled in from the Linn of Dee car park on Friday 28th May, arriving at my camp spot near the Geldie Burn at 11pm. The next morning I crossed the peat hags and then made my way up to the summit of Beinn Bhrotain and then Monadh Mor. I spent another night in the tent, and on Sunday 30th May, I made my way through more peat hags to climb Carn an Fhidhleir and An Sgarsoch. I then cycled back to Linn of Dee car park having had a very enjoyable adventure.

Area : Glen Tromie to Glen Tilt (Beinn Dearg)

This area includes the mountains in the Cairngorms National Park which lie between Glen Tromie in the west and Glen Tilt in the south of the park. The northern boundary is the River Feshie and to the south, the A9. There are four Munros in the area, the tallest being Beinn Dearg at 1008m, and the area is typically made up of peaty plateaux with the occasional pointy peak.
