Description

I got dropped off in Higham by a friend. I walked from East through Mockbegger Farm then in to Great Chattenden Woods. I then crossed the A228 to the main town of Hoo and headed NE through the fields towards Stoke. Then on to Lower Stoke and into the Stoke marshes where I finished at home in Allhallows.
This walk was all about seeing more of my local area and finding routes that I'd not known about. The ground was very wet and bogging so some of the routes across fields were tough going. Overall it was a good day and a lot was practiced with my map and compass work.
