Description

Practice for rescue with Giles and MCI candidate.
1) Problem with rope twist (sorted at belay)
2) client came off the pitch and scenario given dictated that he needed to be hoisted. Used unassisted hoist and then built it up from 3:1 to 5:1 to compare effectiveness.
3) Played as client for other routes

Area : Highland Outcrops: Strathnairn and Strathspey

This area encompasses all the crags in Strathspey north of Kingussie and also those in Strathnairn. These crags are described in the chapters of the SMC Highland Outcrops South guidebook entitled 'Strathspey' and 'South of Inverness', with the exception of Creag Dubh (which is in the West and Central Highlands region in DLOG).
