Sideways rain and gale force wind throughout day 1 up to summits. Wild camp at Lake, then back over the mountain North to car park.
Used Pony path to start / finish walk and navigated scree slops to summit from slope aspect.
This was a very slow going walk as my walking partner was having great deal of trouble on the inclines due to fitness level. Lots of stopping and discussions on whether to continue or not - safety was quite a concern on this walk.
