10 students at exped club today after school. Good turn out. Students first traversed before coming in. I had set up ‘anchors’ where I taught a clove hitch and fig 8 on a bite. Students practiced making anchors using these knots. First time they’d done it and went well. Moved onto climbing wall. Used 4 lines, more experienced students helped less experienced as I controlled the ropes from slightly further away and observed their practice. Was a good session. Need to get someone to help with ratios as students are really interested in continuing coming. Light is difficult, may head to GP more often due to this.
