Started in really cold conditions in freezing fog. Then emerged above the clouds to be treated to a wonderful inversion. Glorious sunshine and a whole 4 degrees C! Great time bog hopping in the moorland sections and then pathfinding in the woodlands. Even found a couple of decorated Christmas trees - one done in modern tinsel and baubles, the other in biodegradable decorations including bird feeders.
