Shorter walk from Tutbury - Round Fauld Crater - Hanbury - Tutbury.
Sharing the history of RAF Fauld and Fauld crater with a mate.
Conditions were rather cold to start but tolerable with the ground crisp underfoot. As the temp warmed it got rather slippy due to mug in places.
Navigation went well.
Point to note - broken style = danger and to be assessed and probably not to be risked using. Despite the gate next to also being broken we were able to open it enough to safely get across.
