Climbing with friend Mick today. First lead climb of the year.
This was a good day as I would not normally have lead this without someone with more experience than me being there. Four pieces of gear placed
Second climb was Dustin Hoffman - mick lead and I seconded as I rarely get to do this!
Third climb was Folix.
Mick lead this again as I seconded - with such lack of gear I was not happy to try it. Mick managed to place two pieces of gear on the route - the first one was well over half way up, which out of pure safety I wouldn’t try ever I don’t think!
Mick and I also spent time at the top of the crag practising abseil set ups which was great to learn from eachother
