Showing Mark some trad techniques to enable him to be more independent and self-sufficient. Had a couple of climbs (with some coaching) to finish off.

Area : Clwyd Limestone Trad Routes

The limestone crags of Clwyd are situated on the escarpment above Llangollen. UK Climbing says of Pinfold Crag in Llangollen, ‘A magnificent group of crags offering the visitor a great variety of climbing in all grades. Wall climbing, jamming cracks sport routes, lunatic fringe routes, and even some aid can all be had here.’ There is also a gritstone quarry at the far end of the escarpment, often used by groups.
