From Bruce's Stone car park, Loch Trool, to Loch valley via Gairland burn. South shore of the loch was followed. N. Slopes of Rig of Jarkness are covered in Rowan. South ridge was followed to summit disturbing a herd of goats at the top. Descent west over some steep ground to arrive at Loch Neldricken (extensive beeches) & walk back to Loch Trool.
