Description

Welsh 3000's from Abergwyngrgyn - Carnedd Llewelyn - Across carnedds, Up tryfan, across onto glyders - along glyders - onto elidir fawr - down through slate mines - up tourist track to Snowdon summit - along crib goch and finish pen-y-pass.
2 days with 4 adults. entirely self sufficient. camped under tryfan. a little breezy but nothing to worry about. great 2 days with some very keen walkers.

Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain in Wales, at an altitude of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland. It is located in Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) in Gwynedd, and has been described as "the busiest mountain in Britain". It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
