Fantastic afternoon climbing with Mike Brookes at Shakemantle Quarry. Ticking off "The Bin" VD.... which quite frankly deserves to be in the bin 😂 Essentially a free solo on rock so friable, that I spent more time throwing rock off it than climbing it - onsight "No use crying" severe, sustained climbing and decent gear - onsight Finished with "We're all loving beyond our means" HVS 4c, a lovely slab. Little in the way of protection, the best being a cam 3m from the top. All meaning I'm a little closer to ticking off the whole crag... May have to leave the E3 5b there... might be a little out my pay grade
