Year 11-13 Games option utilising golden gecko to go through NICAS level 1-3. Introductory sessions focused on auto belays, putting harnesses on, playing Boulder games, talking about climbing fitness. Teaching fig 8’s, belaying and bell ringing and importance of friction using a friction belay plate. All students are doing well. Warm ups include balance games, HR games, and building into activation games ready for climbing before climbing routes on auto belays ready for sessions.
