Description

MS2: Night Nav. long days: 2days 8 hours each day. A Night Navigation, but with good prep during the day we walked straight across the flat Comeragh plateau right to the stream we were looking for, and down past the Stáicín to the car park. Earlier in the day we came up to the right of Mahon Falls and did a circuit until we over looked Com a’ Locha as darkness fell. We stood there in the silence for a minute then planned our route for home. Day two was sunny and bright and we meandered through fields and onto contour features, crossing hidden streams, we even had time to stop for lunch and have a little lie down in the sunshine…who says navigation is difficult!
