Description

Snowdonia Marathon Eryri 2022. Mostly road and included some moderate rain and the off-piste descent into Llanberis turned treacherous and 1 broken leg. I wasn't involved nor witnessed but describes the conditions. I was stopped on the descent and cautioned about running too quickly! I left the slippy muddy path and ran on the grass until regaining metalled surface and descending into the town. I placed 888 of 1604 in just under 5:30 having pulled my Calf on the descent through from Pen-y-pass. Ibuprofen helped!
