Description

8.45am to 3.45pm, 21.7km, 980m.
Overnight at meeting of the burns north of Glen Shee GR 149799, Carn an Tuirk, contour past Cairn of Claise to Tolmount, Crow Craigies, more contouring round to Tom Buidhe, Cairn of Claise, Druim Mor, contoured round to the ridge of Sron Na Gaoithe and back to the van.
Bit of a late start after a long day before and a latish tea having driven round from Glen Doll. A great days walking, saw a few people but didn't meet many as they didn't seem to be doing the tops.

Area : Braemar to Montrose (Lochnagar)

Listed in the SMC Munros Guide as ‘The East Mounth: Glen Shee to Mount Keen’, this area includes all of the peaks to the south and east of the A93. Still part of the Cairngorms National Park, these mountains are home to the north facing crags on Lochnagar (1155m) and the most easterly Munro, Mount Keen (939m).
