Shadowing John Rocks of My Expedition Rocks instructing a group including warm ups and lead climbing with a group of 9-16 y/o inc a spread of M&F as well as climbing experience and ability. One climber on a top-rope backed up by an instructor. The climber was simultaneously belayed by another under-instruction so they gained experience of belaying a lead climber and the lead-climber gained experience of clipping as on the lead. There were demos of z-clipping & explanations of belay positions relative to the climb and why closer was safer for the first 4 clips & the effect this had for risk to the climber.
