Day 1 of two-day work expedition to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with wild camps on both nights. A somewhat fraught evening followed a blissful day of hiking under ideal conditions. I had thought that my (female) colleague would share her tent with me and she rocked up with a boyfriend. I had to share with a male colleague; awkward! What was worse is that the two of them proceeded to giggle through the night and were clearly having sex. We camped FAR away from them on the second night. A wonderful trip otherwise. Sadly no GPX or written record so I don't know exactly where we were.
