Direction: NE along S bank of Loch Ossian then N through forest tracks to cross Laggan Dam; from Roughburn track N up valley to Tom Mor pass to contour line at 610m; cross Creag Tharsuinn to avoid bogs and continue N above stream to Natural Bridge - a way across stream where it is covered by rock and grass above it; follow River Roy ENE to footbridge 2k further on; cross and continue to bothy.
Description: Challenges: route across Glean Spean through forest had been blocked by landowner which required scaling fence; route across Tom Mor thick fog and bog, difficult navigation; River Roy in soate, difficult to reach footbridge.

Area : Creag Meagaidh (Loch Lochy To Loch Laggan)

This area includes the famous Creag Meagaidh Range and surrounding peaks of at least 600m. It stretches east of the A82 between Spean Bridge and Invergarry, and north of the A86 as far east as Stob Coire Dubh. There are a large number of impressive winter climbs in Coire Ardair and endless navigation opportunities on and around the high central plateau of Creag Meagaidh itself. The mountains to the north and east of this range are under East Highlands, Monaliadth Mountains.
