Direction: W over Lochnagar several tops, continuing W past world war 2 aircraft crash site (some arts remain), descending NNW through Balmoral forests to Inverauld bridge then roadside tracks to Braemar.
Description: Dropped by car then walked back to Braemar, where we were staying. Lochnagar and down to Braemar via edge of Balmoral estate, leading navigation for family group. Interesting to find aircraft parts following uncles recommended directions - navigation!

Area : Braemar to Montrose (Lochnagar)

Listed in the SMC Munros Guide as ‘The East Mounth: Glen Shee to Mount Keen’, this area includes all of the peaks to the south and east of the A93. Still part of the Cairngorms National Park, these mountains are home to the north facing crags on Lochnagar (1155m) and the most easterly Munro, Mount Keen (939m).
