I arranged this as a moderate Meetup walk for the shortest day. There were four of us, and the weather was very cold indeed, and misty. One person was very unsuitably dressed, though she repeatedly insisted that she was fine, therefore I cut the walk a bit short, as when we went off-path she seemed to be struggling. The other two people at one point started walking ahead too fast, and in the wrong direction, and failed to hear our yells to come back. I had to use my whistle, which set the dog off howling. Luckily that got the attention of the others and we all got back safely. These people (and animal) management challenges are why I've described this as a QLD.
