I was hoping to climb Beninner and Moorbrock via the path that goes through the Moorbrock Estate, but the gate was firmly shut and had wire wrapped round it. Being on my own, I didn't feel confident to untangle the wire and walk along the path that goes very close to the estate buildings, so I spent a couple of hours seeking out alternative routes. All were blocked by thick forestry or tree plantings. I was very angry at this and had to drive back home.
