From Ogwen cottage we made a route up onto Gribin Facet and scrambled the rock features. From there took the footpath up to Y Gribin, summited the Glyderau, scrambled up Castell y gwynt and the the Y Gwyliwr stone.
Great circular, and joined back into Bwlch y Tryfan to take the Bochlywd path back to base. Perfect weather and a surprisingly quiet ascent.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
