Day 4 of the DofE practice supporting two groups. Both groups largely unassisted at this point. The route was more challenging with paths being much less defined so some good learnings for them. Interventions were required to stop on group going off a cliff, so we worked through the advantage of height for planning routes down. We also looked at movement on steep ground, how to avoid it arising in the first place. The groups were divided and with some drop outs we had to reconstitute teams. This required a bit of coaching to get them to reform teams.
