Description

First time out with Mike, really great to see this crag. Mike is really experienced so it was good to get some support from him for the day. First time using twin ropes which was good to get some experience of. And although useful knowledge, I don’t think the climbs today needed them.
Fretsaw was my lead climb today, again using twin ropes. Was a fun route and helped with my confidence.

Area : Yorkshire Limestone Trad Climbs

The area north West of Bradford, includes Malham, Gordale, Kilnsey and Twistleton, hard sport venues and lots of trad venues. The guidebook is devoid of humour, but if you use it in conjunction with the two Yorkshire Grit guides you can safely reach the first bolt without recourse to a clip stick.
