Description

A work day for Matt Thomas today. Logistically challenging but planning was spot on.
Started day at BF Adventure for abseil off snow quarry into canoes. Set up was simple and didn’t need to use extra safety’s. Dads were both very experienced so at the end I showed them how to use a belay plate as an abseil device extended away from them with Prussik
Then went to Trewavas, full waterproofs but first waited out a big shower. Very heavy. Walked in the next shower with the plan of if it is heavy rain they’ll go in a bivvy shelter to avoid rain while I set up.
Rain stopped and I set up 3 lines, went through set ups with dads. One line got caught scrambled up and around to un hook it.
Climbed to 5:45pm as we had sun and it went brilliantly.

Area : Cornwall Coast And Hills
