Description

Shadowing day with Nick from Nicks Outdoors. Nick had 10 adult participants for the day, with the plan of bottom roping and abseiling.
A really good day for me to see Nick’s anchor set up and his plan for running the session.
It was helpful to see the differences that I might make as / when I run a session.
Nick was happy for me to set up the abseil rig, and we spoke about the pro’s / con’s of my choices.
Again, another helpful day to see how a practising RCI runs things.

Area : Yorkshire Limestone Trad Climbs

The area north West of Bradford, includes Malham, Gordale, Kilnsey and Twistleton, hard sport venues and lots of trad venues. The guidebook is devoid of humour, but if you use it in conjunction with the two Yorkshire Grit guides you can safely reach the first bolt without recourse to a clip stick.
