Climbing at the Boardroom
3 sessions over 3 dates: 18 Nov 2022, 25 Nov 2022, 02 Dec 2022.
9 cadet on each session. The Cadets learned to Group Belay and were able to do multiple routes at the wall on top-roprope.
At the start of this session, the OC was able to deliver climbing games at the start whilst I observed.
Whilst delivering the information on Belaying and Knots we worked together and I given additional safety information where needed and the Cadets would be able to tie their own knots and belay under supervision.
Furthermore, I would always have to see the knots and belaying prior to them leaving the ground.
This session was a little bit more difficult as a couple off the cadets were very excited. Although with their attention diverted to the correct safety information and support from staff this was a successful event with no incidents occurring.
Time: Cadets will arrive for a 1845 start at the boardroom, Cadets will depart at 21:45.
