Description

Bank Holiday Monday, James and I nearly had the crag to ourselves. Had to park at the Pen-y-Gwryd. Fantastic weather to start, clouded over later, but stayed dry. Topping out at the summit is wonderful. A climb that keeps you honest.

Area : Lliwedd and Llyn Llydaw

A proper mountain crag overlooking Llyn Llydaw on Snowdon. The routes are long and serious, the situations stunning, the descent, whichever way you go, long and arduous. Best combination is, arguably, Avalanche/Red Wall/Longlands at HVD. Helmets obligatory. This Area also includes a number of small crags close to Llyn Llydaw.
