Description

Route: Schoolhouse Ridge up to Sgorr Bhan and continuation up to Sgorr Dhearg. Return via same route then down the Beinn Bhan spur.
Group: Myself leading 2 mock clients
Conditions: Clear day with good views. Snow line started at 350 and then well frozen crusty snow from there. Thin covering.
Notes: Lovely conditions meant easy day out with confident clients. Lots of focus on coaching movement skills getting over the crux sections of Schoolhouse Ridge.

Area : Glencoe North (Loch Leven To Rannoch Station)

This area covers the northern side of Glen Coe and the mountains north of Rannoch Moor. Notable features include the Pap of Glencoe, the Aonach Eagach ridge (home to a few kilometres of horizontal scrambling) and the remote peak of Stob na Cruiache which is generally accessed from the train station to the east. Includes all major peaks above 600m.
