Expedition Team Leader in Corsica with Outlook Expeditions - Verulam School, St.Albans, London. I led a team of five 17year-old students & a teacher on the GR20. The expedition consisted of 5 days of preparatory guided trekking plus a DofE Gold qualifying expedition.
Self-supported, carrying 7-days worth of food with some resupply points.
Attempted Monte Cinto but thunderstorm risk forced us to return on reaching Pointe des Eboulis (2,600m).
