A big 4 hour meet with adult staff of the RAF air cadets including Simon Tradinnick, Kat Barton and Keiran Parkin who are all CWI and above, climbing together and also coaching new comers Izzac and Gabby. As well as other less experienced climbers.
It was a great day. In terms of climbing I exceeded my limits top roping several 6As and leading 5+s. I did 9 climbs in total 5 top ropes and 4 leads.
I then assisted Simon in coaching Gabby and Izzac. This went well and I found myself more confident to give direction and jump in to explain some of the background and terminology as well as basic tying in and belaying.
