This Highland outcrops area basically encompasses the trad climbing on the crags covered in the western portion of the 'Perthshire and Southern Highlands' section of the the SMC Highland Outcrops South guidebook, from the Balquhidder Crags through Glen Ogle, to the Comrie, Crieff and Aberfeldy crags (including Glen Lednock). The sport climbs on some of these crags (such as the Weem crags) and the dedicated sport venues should be entered in sport climbing section of DLOG. The Dunkeld and Pitlochry outcrops have their own DLOG area.
