Description

Left from car park at the foot of reservoir heading west up towards Meall nan Tarmachan. Veered north and traversed above waterfalls to lochan then ascended Meall nan Tarmachan. Took in the rest of the Tarmachan ridge moving west before heading north towards Beinn A'bhuic and Meall Glas. Descended to valley floor and set up camp near old sheilings. Good camping spot with lovely views. Woke the next morning and crossed the road before heading north east up to Meall a'Choire Leith. After summitting, progressed south towards Meall Corranaich. Then descended down to bealach and up to Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers. Returned via tourist path to road and back to my car. Great weather both days, wonderful experience.

Area : Glen Lyon to Glen Dochart & Loch Tay (Ben Lawers)

This area covers the peaks to the north and east of Crianlarich. Glen Lyon forms the northern boundary while the road from Crianlarich to Aberfeldy is the southern boundary. The Ben Lawers group in the east of this area includes seven separate peaks, all Munros, which are part of an impressive 12km ridge line. The western side of this area is generally lower and not as steep but does still home some a number of Munros. All major peaks above 600m are included in the mountains list. The area to the north is Loch Rannoch to Glen Lyon.
