Description

Charity walk guiding, parked at Cross keys up along Cautley Holme Beck and past Cautley Spout. Followed permissive footpath alongside Force Gill Beck and then footpath to summit of The Calf. After lunch headed along Bram Rigg Top to Calders, working the way down the access land from Great Dummacks down to Hollow Gill. Once at the edge of the access land following the footpath North back to the car. Big day off path, clients loved it.

The Howgill Fells are hills in Northern England between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, lying roughly in between the vertices of a triangle made by the towns of Sedbergh, Kirkby Stephen and Tebay.
