Dadventures
First time taking out Dads on a Dadventure trip taking sights around Dartmoor and teaching navigation and ecology / mapwork to Fathers. A goo long journey and a interesting aspect as one had significant forestry knowledge so was able to discuss some finer points.
Complete white out the whole time so map and compass was a must and led to some really good discussions on white out navigation and methods to ensure we stay on bearings. Potential hazards, walking on steeper ground
