Description

fun little journey by bus and hitchhike to and from start and finish.
started old dungeon, up pike o blisco, across bowfel and esk hause and down towards great moss.
up little narrow cove to the bottom of chambers crag. tried to dig snow hole but not enough snow, so made a snow...grave? and pitched the tent.
up early to ascend chambers ramp (grade 1) and up to top of scafell. down the corridor route (really hard to find with no route through after light snow overnight)
up great gable along to base brown and down th worst descent in the lakes made slghtly better by frozen ground. hitch hike back to keswick and bus back home.
poor vis (in cloud) on day 1. stunner on day 2 but with strong winds.
