long horse shoe starting and finishing in dark.
park glen finglas vistor centre around the res and straight up south ridge of Benvane via Meall a choire Duibh.around the ridge line to ben ledi, down south east ridge to track, south west to beck and down to the track back to visitor center
low cloud made the summits almost impossible to see anything on but was clear father down between the main summits. solid snow underfoot with a slight fresh sprinkle over night leaving my prints as the first that day.

Area : Loch Lomond to Strathyre (Ben More)

Ben Lomond (974m) and Ben More (1174m) sit on opposite sides of this area which stretches from Loch Lomond to the western end of Loch Earn. There are two distinct sections, to the north and south of Glen Voil, with the remaining peaks sitting to the south of Loch Katrine. Access to the majority of the hills in this area is commonly from Crianlarich, Aberfoyle or Callander.
