Description

We started this mini exped at the Creosor village car park and walked up to the summit of Cnicht before then heading down to the shore of Llyn yr Adar to camp for the night. This was after being treated to a Broken Spectre and fantastic scenery through a temperature Inversion. This really impressed the group that were doing the Hill Skills course and hopefully ignited a passion

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
